Your questions, answered

We've answered some of the most common questions families ask about ABA therapy, treatment, insurance coverage, and family involvement.

ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is a science-based approach that uses positive reinforcement and data-driven strategies to help individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder develop new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

ABA therapy primarily supports children with autism, but it also helps individuals of various ages who need assistance with behavior, communication, social skills, or daily living tasks.

A trained professional observes the individual's behavior, identifies goals, and designs a personalized treatment plan. Desired behaviors are rewarded (reinforced), and progress is measured through ongoing data collection so interventions can be adjusted as needed.

ABA therapy can be provided at home, in our centers, at school, or wherever it is most practical and beneficial for the individual.

Session duration varies based on the child's individual needs, attention span, and treatment goals — ranging from multi-hour daily sessions to shorter, less frequent ones.

Our providers include Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs), and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), each with specialized training to deliver effective, evidence-based therapy.

Therapists collect data throughout each session to track changes in behavior and skill acquisition. This data is analyzed regularly to see what's working and to modify the treatment plan when necessary.

Needs differ from child to child. Some children benefit from ongoing therapy, while others may require less frequent sessions or eventually graduate from therapy altogether.

Coverage varies depending on your insurance provider and plan. Many insurers now offer coverage for ABA therapy for children diagnosed with autism, and our team will verify your specific benefits for you.

Family involvement is crucial. Caregivers can learn specific techniques to support progress outside of therapy sessions, helping skills carry into everyday life.
